This course prepares physical education majors to design and implement learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate using critical elements of basic motor skills within a skill theme approach. An intensive field-based experience at the elementary level is completed under the direct supervision of a university faculty member and a cooperating teacher with a major emphasis on lesson planning in physical education. Fall only.
