Review of arithmetic operations involving rational numbers and decimals, review of percent and percent conversions, exponents, radicals, operations with algebraic expressions, polynomials, equation solving, and basic geometry. This course prepares students for a college level mathematics course but does not satisfy any requirement for graduation from Bluefield College. Students enrolled in Developmental Mathematics must pass this course before taking other mathematics courses and cannot withdraw from the course without permission from the Division Chair. Credit hours may be used in determining athletic and financial aid eligibility.
