6, 0/6 Prerequisites: Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; minimum grade of C in methods courses related to respective major (EDU 220, EDU 310W, EDU 311W, EDU 312, or EDU 329); minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA in major courses; successful completion of English composition/basic communication and mathematics competency requirements. Provides supervised teaching experience in an early childhood classroom five full days per week for approximately seven consecutive weeks. Effective demonstration of content knowledge, pedagogical preparation, instructional delivery, classroom management, knowledge of student development, collaboration with school professionals, and reflectivity of practice.
