Prerequisite: SOC 1001. This course is about the dynamic nature of human group interaction and process. Key group characteristics, such as pressures to conformity, leadership, authority, power and influence, are examined in detail. The course provides students with the opportunity to develop practical skill through the analysis of group meetings, the transactions of its members and individual group adjustment.
