Prerequisite: For 1027: Permission of the Director and HSA 1002. 1027 is a prerequisite for 1028. HSA seniors gain practical experience in a health care institution. Students must maintain an administrative log of activities and periodically meet with the supervisor and course instructor to evaluate experience in addition to submitting a written evaluation at the completion of each semester. ( This is a twosemester internship.) Credit: 3 semester hours.
