Prerequisites: All required courses throughout the fifth year. This course will expose the student to contemporary issues in community pharmacy practice. The role of the community pharmacist in the provision of pharmaceutical care will be explored in depth. Particular emphasis will be placed upon the emerging function of the pharmacists as an ambulatory care provider and integral part of the health care team. Lecture, 3 hours. Credit: 3 semester hours
