Prerequisites: PAS 2301. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to contemporary legal issues that affect pharmacy practice and their role as employees, potential employers and consumers in the health care industry. Students will learn about changes in employment law and business law and be introduced to risk management issues, privacy issues and alternative dispute resolution techniques. Lecture, 2 hours.
