The tools of economic analysis applied to crime, criminal behavior and the criminal justice system. Topics include the economic model of criminal behavior and penology. Special attention focuses on: white collar crime, gambling and the underground economy, especially the drug trade. Also considered is the cost effectiveness of the criminal justice system.
