Topics include: ARP, RARP protocols: the IP addressing scheme: routing in networks; the UDP, TCP, ICMP protocols; subnet and supernet addressing extensions: internet multicasting; client-server model: TCP/IP over ATM; the Domain Name Service; applications such as FTP, SMTP, SNMP.
