An introduction to the chemistry of biological compounds; the principles of enzymology; the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids, and the control of metabolism. Lecture, 3 hours. Laboratory, 3 hours. Credit: 4 semester hours. Laboratory fee, $60.
