This course will examine the legal system in the United States and promote an appreciation of the many legal complexities in today's business environment. Students will explore and understand the basic principles of contract law including contract formation, contract defenses, breach of contract and remedies for breach of contract. In addition, the course will examine the basic principles of product liability law and bankruptcy.
