This is a writing-intensive course that is only offered as part of the learning community for first-year Science Scholars. In the course, we explore the links between science, scientists, scientific thinking and society through writing and other forms of communication such as debates. Possible topics include: stem cell research, global warming, pseudoscience, and the Information Age. Offered only as part of a learning community with MSTI 160C.
