Adaptive technological software and hardware, when applied appropriately, has the potential to reduce barriers to education for students with disabilities. This course provides candidates with the skills and knowledge to address the needs of students with disabilities in various settings, including inclusive classrooms. This course includes demonstrations and hands-on exercises, such as preparing modified lesson plans, to better facilitate the inclusion of students with diverse characteristics. This course includes a field experience. Cross-listed with MSTI 260. Prerequisite: MSTI 131.
