This course offers close attention to and substantial practice in writing in particular genres-prose fiction, poetry, drama, or creative non-fiction-whether defined by form (e.g., poetry sequences, science fiction, screenplays) or by designed audience (e.g., young adult fiction, chick lit). Students who have received credit for ENGL 375 (Writing Young Adult Fiction) may not receive credit for this course unless the topic is different.
