This course covers topics in the C programming language beyond those covered in an elementary course. Among the topics covered are: the preprocessor, pointers, command line arguments, and unions. The interface of C to the operating system is seen in the discussion of system calls, process creation, exec, fork, and pipes, among others. Some of the C libraries are covered. Prerequisite: CSCI 303 with a grade of "C" or higher, or a course in Cprogramming language.
