The broadest of all disciplines, anthropology covers the several million years of human biological and cultural development, the organization of human societies around the world, and the content and structure of distinctive forms of human expression, from language, government and marriage to child care, education and religion. This course surveys the fields of physical anthropology, archaeology, linguistics, and cultural anthropology. Should not be taken if you have credit for ANTH 101D or 102D.
