The course is intended to introduce students to the areas of the law that they are most likely to encounter in construction. Following an introduction to the legal system and form of legal analysis, areas to be addressed will include contracts, procurement, scope definition, delays and acceleration, site conditions, warranties, termination, tort claims, dispute resolution and ethics.
