A survey both of ethical teachings of the Bible and traditional ethical theories and their applications, including egoism, utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics. This survey is integrated with a study of the foundation and application of Christian ethics as defined through a biblical perspective, including such topics as the nature of God, the role of Scripture, and the role of the church in making ethical decisions. Fulfills Bible course requirement. Offered fall, even-numbered years, and on demand. Students cannot earn credit for both BUS 371 (Business Ethics) and REL 371.
