Continuation of the people-in-systems theoretical orientation, building understanding and knowledge of human behavior as influenced by bio-psycho-socio-cultural factors. This section will focus on family development throughout the life cycle, small group dynamics, and role theory. General systems theory will be used as a conceptual framework for the study of families, using the problem-solving practice model. Prerequisite: SWK 233. Offered fall, odd-numbered years.
