(3 credits) This course provides a study of the types and sources of children's literature, involves the extensive reading necessary to acquaint a prospective teacher with the wealth of material available in the field, and demonstrates procedures in the teaching of literature to children. Prerequisite: LIT 235 or 236 and provisional admission to the education program, or instructor's consent. Offered spring.
