This course focuses on the introduction and/or mastery of selected NATA Education Council Athletic Training Educational Competencies and Clinical Proficiencies. Emphasis is placed on the principles, procedures and techniques that are commonly utilized in an equipment intensive sport. The student must attend two lab sessions per week instructed by an Approved Clinical Instructor and complete clinical rotations under the direct supervision of an appropriately licensed health care professional. The clinical rotation will include rotations with Delta State University's football team and high school outreach with football. Prerequisites/Co-requisites: Admittance to the Athletic Training Education Program, HSE 251, HSE 355. 2
