An introduction to the export/import practices of small and medium sized firms. The course will provide a guide through the stages of the export/import process; from an assessment of its feasibility to successful completion. Students will develop a familiarity with international trade regulations and requirements, procedures and documentation, intermediaries facilitating the acquisition of information, the flow of goods and services, and financing. Prerequisite: MRKT 101.
