In this course, students will learn basic counseling skills and how to apply them to nutrition counseling situations. Several different counseling orientations will be considered, including behavior modification, cognitive therapy and family systems theory. Students engage in role playing to gain practice in these techniques. Prerequisite: NTSI 401
