ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION /FIELD (3) Offers content on providing physical activity for persons with disabilities. The course will provide lectures on: characteristics of selected disabilities; federal and state laws for educating persons with disabilities; appropriate teaching and coaching strategies; equipment and behavior management strategies; and disability simulations. Fifteen hours in teaching aiding.
