TEACHING SOCIAL STUDIES IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL/4 (3) Techniques, methods, materials, content for teaching of social studies in intermediate and middle school settings. Additional emphasis will be placed on integrating technology into teaching the following content areas: branches of government (federal, state, local), balance of power, economics, geography and the U.S. Constitution. Credit will be give for only one of the following: MIDS 5240/325G, ELED 5150/305G. Additional course fee.
