CALCULUS FOR LIFE SCIENCES I (4) Sequences, difference equations, discrete time models, limits, continuity, differentiation and anti-differentiation of algebraic, trigonometric, and transcendental functions, chain rule, applied problems on maxima and minima, equilibria and stability, basic differential equations, and the fundamental theorem of calculus. CAS, modeling, and imaging programs. Strong emphasis on biological models using real biological data. Additional course fee.
