OPERATIONS/PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT (3) The purpose of this course is to acquaint the student with the fundamentals of production and operations management. Various techniques, both managerial and quantitative, are presented to cover all four stages of POM: strategic, tactical, operational, and control. Topics include forecasting; capacity, location and layout planning, linear programming, inventory management, material requirement planning, scheduling, workforce management, project management, and quality management. Credit not given for both INSY 224 and MGMT 3240/224.
