METHODS OF TEACHING SOCIAL STUDIES AT THE SECONDARY LEVEL (GRADES 6-12) /FIELD (3) Methods of teaching geography, history, and other social studies in high school grades 9-12 and middle school grades 6-8. Thirty clock hours of field experience. Credit not given for both HIST 277 and 4630/363. Prerequisite: Admission to College of Education; ELCF 4500/353 and READ 4100/306 (or concurrent enrollment in ELCF 4500/353 and READ 4100/306); and consent of the department.
