TEACHING SOCIAL STUDIES IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL /4/ FIELD (3) Materials and methods for the development of social studies concepts in the elementary school and middle school grades. Cultural pluralism. Audio visual utilization, simple production and equipment operation relevant to expansion of the academic program. Video taping. Ten hours of tutoring for non-degree-seeking certification candidates. Twenty hours of tutoring for master's degree candidates. Credit will be given for only one of the following: ELED 215, ELED 4150/5150/305, or MIDS 4240/325.
