WRITERS' WORKSHOP II LECTURE AND LABORATORY /6 (3) An intensive study of argumentative writing for transfer students who do not pass the English 128 Transfer Examination (English Qualifying Examination). Additional practice in paragraph and essay development, sentence construction, usage, punctuation, and mechanics. Lab fee. The writing lab for individualized instruction is mandatory. To receive a passing grade in the course, the student must successfully complete the course exit examination (English Qualifying Examination). Successful completion of English 1240/124 satisfies the Composition II requirement. Credit not given for both ENG 1240/124 and 1280/128.
