SCHOOL LAW (3) Practical application of educational law. Key content areas related to the legal system; role of the federal, sate and local government; the legislative process; school/higher institutions of learning governance; school/higher institutions of learning policies, rules and regulations; church and state; civil rights; students and parents' rights and responsibilities; teachers', faculty and administrators' rights and responsibilities; collective negotiations; torts and contracts; and legal research are covered. Selected legal principles, statutes, cases and law agencies, which affect all levels of Illinois public learning institutions, are also analyzed.
