TECHNIQUES IN ELECTRON MICROSCOPY LECTURE AND LABORATORY /6 (4) Instrument and specimen preparation theory for both transmission (TEM) and scanning (SEM) electron microscopy. Preparation of specimens for examination in both TEM and SEM. Basic darkroom and digital image presentation. Substantial work outside of class time is required. Credit will not be given for both Biol 4450/345 and any of the following courses BIOL 340, 341, 441, 445. Prerequisite: For science majors only.
