An option under the UIS Requirements. Combines a careful study of the structure and functions of legislature with a placement on the staff of a member of the Illinois General Assembly and other associated placements. Interns may do such things as research bills, participate in committee work, and assist constituents and committee witnesses. (Available only during spring term.) Course Information: Credit/No Credit grading only. May be repeated to a maximum of 8 hours under University Requirement only.
