It focuses on the literary efforts of women to question, challenge, and examine the conditions affecting their lives. The major emphasis will be on global literatures from Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. This course is cross-listed with ENGL 324. Not open to students with credit in ENGL 324.
