Credit Hours: 3.00. An examination of the theory and practice of conflict management. Particular emphasis is given to the formal public educational system and the nonformal extension education system. Through case studies of public and private controversies, students analyze conflicts and problem-solve courses of action. Through in-class and out-of-class assignments, students synthesize the conflict management literature and apply theory to current issues and topics in education and extension.
