Credit Hours: 3.00. This rotation will provide opportunity for hands on small animal ultrasound imaging. The student will have the opportunity to pre-scan the patients prior to actual scan by the radiologist. By doing so, the student will learn the ultrasound scanning techniques and real time interpretation of ultrasonography. In addition, students will observe the scanning of veterinary patients by the radiologist and will be asked to participate in ultrasonography interpretation. Total clinic hours 129.
