Network architecture: OSI seven layer protocol stack, reliable delivery over unreliable channels, transport protocols, datagrams, virtual circuits, internetworking as a fundamental design concept. Network management concepts, client server principles and paradigms, addressing and address resolution algorithms, and remote procedure calls.
