It is designed to introduce both topical content and state-of-the-art research tools to students through a combination of guest speakers, faculty presentations, and discussions. The seminar also serves as a forum for students to present their own work and receive critical commentary from faculty and peers. The course is organized as a graduate seminar and gives students a chance to actively explore their own research ideas.
