Iterative algorithms are developed to: (1) choose the location and accuracy of sensors and actuators for controlled structures; (2) choose an appropriate model of the structure for control design; (3) choose the word length for A/D and D/A converters, and control processor; and (4) choose appropriate values for the free design parameters within the structure. Prerequisite: AAE 50700, 56400.
