Web Graphics Creation and Site Integration Prerequisite: The recommended textbook for this course; both are available at the ECSU bookstore. What is a website without graphics? The Page Design, Site Management, and JavaScript Essentials course teaches you how to plan, create, and assemble a website, but not integrate graphics with your design. This course meets the need to incorporate professional graphics, optimized for fast web performance, into your website. You will learn how to use Macromedia Fireworks MX. Unlike numerous graphics packages that are designed for print graphics, Fireworks is designed for the web. You will learn how to create and optimize web graphics. You will also learn how to work with objects, fills, strokes, effects, text, bitmap graphics, optimization, and importing graphics into FrontPage. The second week of the course focuses on advanced features such as creating sliced images, website navigation bars with rollover effects, and basic animations. You will then spend time migrating Fireworks navigation bars into websites. This is the essential course for learning all of the critical mechanics of working with professional web graphics. 0.000 Credit Hours 17.000 Other hours Levels: Non Credit Schedule Types: Workshop School of Continuing Education College Professional Development Department
