Geology of Natural Resources Prerequisite: None Geology is the science that pursures an understanding of the Earth, including the materials that make it up and the processes by which they form. This course uses basic physical geological principles to understand the orgin, distribution, and use of the Earth's natural resources both now and into the future. These resources include metal and mineral deposits, energy, soil, rocks, and water.
