Curriculum Materials:Social Studies Prerequisite: Admission To The Teacher Education Program Corequisites: EDU 306, EDU 401, and EDU 411 This course provides pre-service teachers with an integrated approach to the teaching of the language arts (reading/language arts/children's literature),social studies, mathematics, and sciences in the elemenatry school. Both the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching will be explored and curriculum materials developed based upon common concepts.
