Classroom Environments I Prerequisites: Admission To The Teacher Education Program Program. Addresses physical classroom features of programs for infants, toddlers, preschool and primary grade students. Focuses on design of physical classroom space, development of learning centers, and development of learning materials across curriculum areas, with a special focus on health and safety issues. This course also identifies various program models, exploring how different theories are applied through environmental design. This course emphasizes appreciation of sensitivity to diversity in ability, age, learning style, ethnicity, and gender.
