History Of Non-Violence In Black America Prerequisite: None This course analyzes the historical development of the philosoply of nonviolence in the African American community. The course looks at the impact of nonviolence before, during, and after the civil rights movement. In addition, it also focuses on the impact of personalism, Ghandi, black theology of liberation, and other ideas on Dr. Martin Luther King and his supporters.
