The primary objective of this course is to provide students with an integrative view of the purchasing and logistic functions and the role they play in the overall operations of the organization. The use and applications of information systems (SAP R/3) in the purchasing and logistic functions will be included in the course. These information systems will provide a foundation for the understanding of the integrative nature of the business organization today.
