3 FA Multicultural literature is central to helping students understand themselves and the world in which they live. This survey course will address how to identify, select, and evaluate appropriate literature. This course will include study of how to implement and use multicultural books with children who are native English speakers as well as those who are English language learners. Intended for those interested in teaching at elementary, middle, and high schools.
