3 INQ An examination of Southeast Asian immigrants to North America. The cultural and historical backgrounds of Southeast Asian peoples (Hmong, Mien, Kampuchean, Vietnamese, etc.) will be discussed. The historical and political forces that stimulated immigration to North America and the subsequent adaptations made by these peoples to North American cultural contexts will be core themes for this course.
