This course is open to students with the permission of the instructor. Weekly rehearsals will help students acquire knowledge of the techniques and literature of big band jazz. Focus is on growth in sight-reading and improvisation skills as well as the development of musical understanding through experience in a public concert. Prerequisite: Admission by audition only.
