Designed for students who already have a high degree of proficiency in Italian. Selected works by the century's major authors will be read and analyzed. Discussions will focus on the problems they address and the changes they reflect in the sociocultural milieu of contemporary Italy. Selected film classics will be shown. Oral and written assignments.
