Topics covered include: organization of a compiler including symbol tables, lexical scan, syntax scan, object code generation and optimization techniques. Prerequisite: Programming and Multimedia in Java (MAC 2010). Corequisite: Computer Systems Architecture and Programming (MAC 2045). ( every third year)
